Naperville Christian Academy (NCA) is seeking a part-time art teacher for the 2026-27 school year who would provide instruction 3 days per week (M, T, TH).

Art instruction, observation, and composition is an important component of our classical academic program, which aims to teach students from preschool through high school to love what is good, true, and beautiful, bring glory to God the Creator and edify their fellow man with their creative gifts.

Responsibilities

• Teaching the elements of art and the principles of design
• Training students in fundamentals of drawing and other media
• Guiding students to observe and appreciate great works of art by the masters
• Collaborating with teachers to integrate art lessons with classroom studies
• Curating student art shows for school programs

Naperville Christian Academy (NCA) is seeking a part-time art teacher for the 2026-27 school year who would provide instruction 3 days per week (M, T, TH). Art instruction, observation, and composition is an important component of our classical academic program, which aims to teach students from preschool through high school to love what is good, true, and beautiful, bring glory to God the Creator and edify their fellow man with their creative gifts.

NCA has been educating students grades Preschool – 12th for over 25 years in the western suburbs of Chicago. We are a tightly knit – passionate – creative – and exceedingly motivated group of educators and administrators brought together by our shared love of Christ and the pursuit of the good, the true, and the beautiful.

The art teacher is responsible for:

• Teaching our students the elements of art and the principles of design
• Training our students in the fundamentals of drawing as well as other mediums
• Guiding our students to observe and appreciate the great works of art by the masters across time
• Collaborating with teachers to integrate art lessons with classroom studies
• Curating Art Shows of student work for the various programs throughout the year
