EVERSANA INTOUCH is seeking an Art Supervisor to lead and elevate design across multi-channel campaigns for pharmaceutical clients. The AS will own concept and art development, serve as a liaison between creative and account teams, and ensure brand consistency and regulatory adherence across channels.

The role requires leadership, strong presentation skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while aligning with timelines and utilization targets.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in an advertising agency environment with at least 3 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Creative Development: Proven ability to take full responsibility for concept and art/design development across various projects of differing complexity and scope.
  • Strategic Liaison: Experience acting as a direct liaison between creative teams and junior/mid-level account team members, ensuring strategic and creative expectations are met.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical promotion requirements across all communication channels.
  • Marketing Principles: Intimate knowledge of marketing and advertising principles to ensure work achieves its full potential, adheres to brand standards, and provides a consistent brand experience across all channels.
  • Presentation Skills: Expertise in presenting and defending work both internally and externally.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including monitoring the workload of direct reports and intervening when necessary to maintain quality and timelines.
  • Design/Art Direction: Ability to lead and elevate design and art direction across the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and elevate art/design across the team, adding value wherever possible.
  • Provide constructive feedback to junior creatives, advancing the creative from both a copy and art standpoint.
  • Possesses strong conceptual skills with the ability to bring a wide range of creative solutions to every project.
  • Lead art direction across projects to create a cohesive brand experience that meets/exceeds expectations.
  • Proficient in estimating hours for projects for self and direct reports.
  • Ability to distill complex scientific information and turn it into compelling data visualizations.
  • Mastery of file-building/management and The One Intouch Process.
  • Understands the importance of utilization and works hard to hit targets for themselves and direct reports.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and a commitment to apply them to our work.
  • Mentors and grows junior team members, elevating their designs and expanding their industry knowledge.
  • Growing knowledge of our clients’ business and how our work impacts the business.
  • Proactively works in close concert with planning, UX, and development to ensure team alignment.
  • Develops strong relationships with creative, account management, product management, production, studio, and cross functional team members.
  • Confidently presents and helps sell ideas to our clients.
  • Volunteers to contribute to new business efforts.
  • Mastery in developing multichannel creative (within portfolio) that displays strong conceptual thinking, strategic/business acumen, and finely crafted designs.
  • A wide range of industry experience including launches, label updates, etc.

Job Description

WHAT DOES AN ART SUPERVISOR DO?

The Art Supervisor (AS) is an active contributor to the creative team, taking full responsibility of concept and art/design development across various projects ranging in complexity and scope. The AS is a direct liaison between creative and junior/mid-level account team members, focused on answering strategic and creative expectations. The AS has solid understanding of FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical promotion requirements across all communication channels. Additionally, the AS has an intimate knowledge of marketing/advertising principles necessary to ensure work achieves full potential, adheres to brand standards, and ensures a consistent brand experience across all channels. The AS expertly presents and defends work internally and externally as needed. The AS exhibits leadership capabilities by monitoring workload of direct reports, intervening when necessary, so that quality and timelines are not compromised. The AS plays a pivotal role in leading and elevating design/art direction across the team.
