Job summary

Fresno Pacific University’s Liberal Arts Program is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses and engage with a diverse student body across regional campuses in the Central Valley and online.

Candidates should hold an MA or PhD in a related field and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with faculty, support Christian faith integration, and remain committed to student-centered teaching within the university’s mission.

Qualifications

• MA or PhD in related field of study or combination of college and work experience for individuals in the arts.
• Ability to work with students, staff, and faculty in a collegial environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as described and assigned.
• Maintain open lines of communication with students and be available to meet virtually or in person as necessary.
• Discuss class progress with the program coordinator, including teaching performance through observation.
• Collaborate with other faculty as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to serving and inspiring students in an academic context that integrates Christian faith and learning.
