Job summary

Santa Barbara City College seeks an individual to perform diversified classroom equipment cleaning and maintenance in support of the department. The role may direct students to faculty or the Director and requires coordination with instructors to prepare spaces each term.

Under the guidance of the Director, you will handle art equipment, inventory, and safety practices, operate classroom gear, and assist with supplies and data entry.

Qualifications

• Maintains communication with the Director, School of Extended Learning or designee.
• Ensures classroom is ready for each instructor prior to each term.
• Locates, orders, purchases, and resells general-use supplies using PO system.

Responsibilities

• Art handling support and equipment maintenance in the classroom space.
• Communicates with college personnel and outside agencies to exchange information and resolve issues.
• Monitors supplies; estimates and prepares orders; inventories supplies.
• Operates a variety of classroom equipment.
• Maintains art classrooms in proper working condition and organizes rooms per faculty specs.
