Job summary

Coral Springs Museum of Art seeks qualified art instructors to teach classes or workshops for youth and adults in museum studios. Instructors work on a contract basis with a set fee schedule per class or camp and must provide a COI and pass a Level 2 background check.

Those teaching youth may require fingerprints prior to hire. Typical qualifications include a BA/BS in art education or related field with teaching experience, or a BFA with relevant teaching experience, and a class curriculum

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or Art History or equivalent with teaching experience.
• BFA in a requested discipline or BA in Art Education/Art History and teaching experience.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a structured arts environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes or workshops for youth and adults at the museum studios.
• Develop and follow a class curriculum with project breakdowns.
• Complete required safety/background checks and COI where applicable.
