Job summary

DigiPen Institute of Technology seeks a Teaching Assistant (TA) for its art history course at the Redmond campus. You will assist the instructor in classroom activities, grade submissions, and support students during labs and office hours.

This is a part-time, on-site role with strict compliance to class schedules and WA residency requirements. Expected employment dates are August 31 to December 10, 2026, with about eight hours per week (Mon/Thu 10:20–11:50 a.m.).

Qualifications

• Must be a current DigiPen student to qualify.
• Students may not work during scheduled classes.
• Students must reside within the State of Washington; remote outside WA not permitted.
• Reports to: Sarah M Zankowski.
• Class times: Mon/Thu 10:20-11:50 a.m.
• Expected dates of employment: Aug 31 – Dec 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructor in classroom setup and operation.
• Facilitate student presentations and assist with labs.
• Assist with grading outside class and attend regular meetings.
• Submit attendance sheets and maintain records.
• Upload grades onto Moodle and provide feedback on grading.
• Track hours worked and report time.
• Meet weekly with instructor for performance feedback.
