Job summary

UOVO is hiring an Art Handler/Driver in Washington, DC to manage the care, packing, and transport of valuable artworks. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and requires familiarity with art handling and storage practices.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with installing artworks, preparing shipping paperwork, and ensuring compliance with transport regulations. On-site work is five days weekly with occasional nights or weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling and installing art objects.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to lift heavy weights and move objects safely.
• On-site presence five days a week with flexibility for nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle and pack art objects using appropriate methods.
• Install/de-install artworks at in-house or offsite locations.
• Prepare and process shipping paperwork with accuracy.
• Receive and store shipments at warehouse facilities.
• Assist with local, national, and international transport logistics.
