Job summary

UOVO in South San Francisco is seeking an Art Handler/Driver to join our transportation team. You will handle, pack, and transport valuable artworks, ensuring meticulous care from pickup to delivery.

The role requires art handling experience, strong packing skills, and a valid driver’s license (CDL a bonus). On-site five days a week with occasional nights and weekends, compensation ranges per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling art objects and packing for transport.
• Ability to install/de-install artworks and troubleshoot onsite.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication with clients.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Proper handling of art objects, using appropriate methods for packaging and securing during transport.
• Install/de-install artworks at client sites or in-house facilities.
• Prepare paperwork including bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and condition reports with photos.
• Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities.
• Pack artworks for local, national and international transportation and storage.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and DOT regulations.
• Support internal teams as needed; flexibility for weekends/overtime.
