The School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts at Oregon State University is seeking an Art Figure Model for a part-time (.25 FTE), 12-month professional faculty position. The model will support painting, drawing, and sculpture courses and help students study the human form through a range of poses.

The role is primarily nude figure modeling with on-call assignments each quarter. The candidate must be comfortable modeling nude and able to hold 30–45 minute poses; typical weekly hours range

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to model in the nude.

Responsibilities

• Instructor provides all directions to the incumbent in this position.
• Works on an intermittent, on-call basis depending on department needs each quarter; mostly nude figure modeling.
• Must be able to hold poses for 30 to 45 minutes over the course of a 3-hour course session.
• Average work time is 6 to 10 hours over the 10-week course.
