Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an accomplished Art Director to craft editorial imagery and guide aesthetic across campaigns, digital experiences, lookbooks, and events for its luxury fashion and beauty brands.

You will lead on-set direction, supervise post-production, and partner with photographers, stylists, and production partners to ensure a cohesive identity across omnichannel touchpoints in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of art direction and design experience in fashion, luxury retail or editorial.
• Strong portfolio showing campaign carry-through and editorial design.
• Experience art directing fashion, beauty and lifestyle shoots with on-set direction.
• Excellent typography, layout and design skills with refined aesthetics.
• Deep understanding of luxury fashion, retail, photography and visual culture.
• Experience overseeing retouching and post-production to ensure brand standards.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
• Knowledge of print production, color management and digital asset creation.

Responsibilities

• Translate and execute the Creative Director's vision into editorial imagery.
• Art direct fashion, beauty and lifestyle shoots, on-set direction and collaboration.
• Design and develop print and digital layouts with strong typography.
• Maintain brand visual identity across campaigns, digital and print touchpoints.
• Present references, mood boards and design solutions to guide projects.
• Collaborate with photographers, stylists, retouchers and production partners.
• Review retouching proofs for color, composition and image quality.
• Oversee post-production with retouchers to ensure creative direction.
• Develop co-op and collaborative content with brand partners.
• Stay informed on fashion, luxury retail, art, photography and culture.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
