Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in art, art history, museum studies or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in museum registration or collections management.
• Experience with collections documentation, intake, cataloguing, or related registration functions.
• Experience using a relational database; The Museum System (TMS) preferred.
• Experience using a digital asset management system (DAMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support care, documentation, access, and stewardship of the permanent collection.
• Assist with intake and cataloguing of new acquisitions and condition reporting.
• Maintain collection records in digital and physical formats in TMS and DAMS.
• Coordinate collection information and enable research access.
• Process loans and coordinate photography needs for the collection.
• Support packing, transportation, and movement of collection objects.
