Job summary

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school and meets state/federal certification requirements.
• ARRT Certificate is REQUIRED.
• Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit (CA DoPH) is REQUIRED.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) is REQUIRED.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals is REQUIRED.
• IV Certification is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures in a special modalities and general diagnostic with quality patient care.
• Assist Physicians as needed during procedures.
• Document and verify orders and indications in RIS.
• Begin and complete exams in RIS with proper coding and modifiers.
• Label studies correctly and manage paperwork and film jackets.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and ensure patient confidentiality.
