Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an ARNP to join the Occupational Health team at Capitol Hill in Seattle. This full-time position (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm) focuses on acute and preventive care within a corporate health setting, with scope to admit, refer, prescribe, and order tests as needed.

The ARNP will collaborate with the health care team, participate in care planning, and contribute to improving patient access and outcomes while meeting organizational guidelines and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing is required.
• National certification appropriate to the role is required.
• RN license (WA) at hire or Compact license required at hire.
• ARNP license (WA) required at hire.
• BLS required at hire.
• One year ARNP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a designated population of patients.
• Participate in patient assessment and formulation, implementation and monitoring of the care plan.
• Prescribe medications and treatments and order tests as part of care.
• Maintain productive work schedule and participate in continuing education.
• Order lab, pharmacy, radiology, and other tests appropriately.
• Collaborate with health care team and communicate effectively.
