Red River Youth Academy in Norman, Oklahoma seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care for adolescents in our residential program. Under the Medical Director, you will perform evaluations, histories, physicals, and follow-up care, ensuring continuity from intake to discharge.

Qualifications

• MSN/APRN or equivalent; ARNP, NP-BC, ACNP, FNP, ANP or PA-C license under the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
• Experience preferred in adolescent psychiatric care and at least 1 year in residential or outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards, EMRs, patient confidentiality laws, and community resources.

Job description

Red River Youth Academy is seeking a dedicated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide comprehensive care to adolescents in our residential treatment program. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the ARNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, history and physical assessments, and follow-up care. This role ensures continuity of care from intake through discharge, supporting both the physical and psychological needs of our clients.

This position operates in a temperature-controlled indoor environment. Tasks include walking, standing, sitting, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
