Job summary

IDS International seeks a detail-oriented Logistician II to support DoD supply chain operations at Muscatatuck, Indiana. The role focuses on Army property accountability, end-to-end supply operations, and procurement activities within a government environment.

The candidate will manage inventories, hand receipts, and lifecycle management using CHESS, while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and Army policies to support operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in Army Supply and Services Career Management Field.
• 3 years in procurement or contracting in government or military environment.
• Experience with end-to-end supply operations and property accountability.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and Army procurement policies.
• Experience with CHESS system.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end supply operations (ordering, receiving, storing, issuing).
• Support procurement and contracting activities in government or military environment.
• Maintain property accountability, including hand receipts and inventory management.
• Conduct inventories of Army property and ensure accurate tracking.
• Expedite delivery of critical supplies and identify alternate sourcing options.
• Ensure compliance with Army logistics policies, FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Utilize CHESS to support procurement and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate logistics activities to support operational readiness.
