United States Army Reserve is seeking Infantryman (11B) to serve as the backbone of land combat forces. This role starts with foundational training and offers paths to advanced schools such as Special Forces, Airborne, Ranger, Sniper, and Pathfinder.
Responsibilities include defending the country from land threats and engaging enemy ground forces. Enlistment involves ASVAB testing and an intensive 14-week One Station Unit Training in field and classroom settings.

Enlistees attend Infantry One Station Unit Training for 14 weeks, which primarily takes place in the field, as well as the classroom. During Training, They Will List Their Specific Infantry Job Preferences, Although Assignments Are Determined By The Needs Of The Army. Upon Graduation From One Station Unit Training, They Are Assigned To One Of The Following Infantry Specialties
