Job summary

SMX is hiring an Army ERP Functional Consultant in Columbus, OH to analyze financial and logistics datasets, define integration logic, and enable enterprise reporting. You will normalize data across SAP and non-SAP systems and serve as the Financials SME for DoD stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires deep Army financial process knowledge, US security clearance, and experience with EDW/Data Lake and Treasury reporting. Strong communication and workshop leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Ten years+ Army ERP implementation and support experience.
• GFEBS data understanding including budgeting and expenditure.
• Deep knowledge of Army Financial LC accounting and data flows across ERP/Legacy systems.
• Expertise in SAP FI/CO/MM/PP impacts from configuration changes.
• Experience with US Treasury financial reporting and related data elements.
• Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Lake for HDQA reporting.
• Experience supporting Army financial management and process re-engineering.
• Experience with Army GFEBS.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army and DoW financial/logistics datasets to define integration logic for enterprise reporting.
• Normalize data from SAP and non-SAP systems for HQDA and command dashboards.
• Serve as Financials SME across diverse mission fields and stakeholders.
• Lead functional workshops to clarify data integration dependencies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic mission environment.
• Track project timelines and deliverables and inform clients of progress.
