Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX. You will perform armed patrols inside the retail location, driving and patrolling to deter incidents and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification in Texas, with a strong emphasis on professionalism, communication, and integrity as part of a caring Allied Universal team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while following location policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to relevant personnel.
• Maintain required certifications and carry assigned equipment per Allied Universal policies.
