Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Vault Custodian to join a security-focused team. You will help maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in daily operations.

The role involves manual handling of currency, bags, and coins, with an emphasis on safety and reporting. Work is full-time, with a typical 40–50 hour week and on-site duties in a vault environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload bags/boxes weighing avg. 50 lbs during a 6–10 hour shift.
• Must be able to push/pull carts and wagons carrying heavy cargo.
• Able to stand on concrete floors ~80% of shift.
• Ability to sign/record numbers by hand and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Check bag/seal numbers against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign receipts.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/coins.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with colleagues and customers by phone.
