Job summary

Chesapeake Protective Services in Catonsville, MD is seeking both armed and unarmed security guards. Candidates must hold an active Maryland Guard Card, a Maryland Driver's License with a clean record, and be proficient in English. A smartphone and data plan are required to use the Security App on duty.

For armed candidates, a Maryland Wear & Carry permit, a registered service weapon, and a duty belt with Level 2 holster (or higher) are required. Do not come to the office without the Guard Card.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Guard Card.
• Cell phone with good Data Plan to use the Security App while on Duty.
• Be familiar with and possess the skills to use smartphones and apps.
• Maryland Driver's License for more than two years, and a Clean Driving Record for the last 7 years.
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, with excellent grammar skills.
