Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Armed Transit Security Officer in Las Vegas, NV to protect critical assets across client sites. Candidates must hold an Exposed Firearms Permit, a current guard card, CPR/First-Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Minimum age 21 with ability to stand, walk, and respond to incidents on shift. Positions offer comprehensive training, benefits, and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Must possess current guard card.
• CPR/First-Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens Certification.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Patrol on foot or by vehicle to detect damage, misuse or theft and issue warnings or make citizen’s arrests.
• Prevent entry of unauthorized individuals into restricted areas of client facilities and rights-of-way.
• Routinely interface with the riding public and provide information about the system and safety.
• Prepare and submit security reports and assist investigators as required.
• Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities including fare inspection sweeps and passenger counts.
• Respond effectively to all calls for assistance.
• Be sensitive to the client’s culture and protect the client brand image.

(b) Military experience of four (4) years with an Honorable Discharge. (c) Military deployment, combat arms experience of two (2) years, with Honorable Discharge.
