American Ordnance seeks an Armed Security Guard to maintain safety and security across operations, employees, and facilities. You will perform access control, patrol designated areas, monitor for potential threats, and respond quickly in high-pressure situations with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license or current passport.
• 6 months security-related experience and/or training in the last 5 years preferred.
• Must pass quarterly and yearly physical agility testing.
• Must be able to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs access control at perimeter and internal access points including vehicle searches and badge inspections.
• Routine patrol of installation to inspect and secure production and storage areas.
• Completes documentation for assigned duties (search registers, igloo check sheets, repository checks, vehicle check-sheets, explosive building signature sheets).
• Performs surveillance and counter-surveillance to maintain a secure workplace.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and threats.
• Performs investigations, escorts, stand-bys, vehicle traffic enforcement, including detainment powers.
