Job summary

Serva LLC, through Serva Security, is seeking armed security officers for part-time shifts in South Nashville. Officers patrol, monitor premises, and respond to incidents with a professional presence.

Use of video surveillance and access control software is required; candidates must meet licensing and fitness standards. Opportunity to advance to full-time positions within the client portfolio exists for high-performing staff.

Qualifications

Preferred candidate has current, former, or retired law enforcement or military background.
Law enforcement or security position experience (SRO) is a plus.
First Aid, CPR, and AED training are preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct security patrols and monitor premises to prevent and respond to incidents.
Determine appropriate, legal force to protect life and safety when faced with threats.
Secure campus and personnel by patrolling buildings, parking lots, and access points.
Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor and communicate effectively.
Assist with traffic control and other security duties as directed.
Accompany personnel and students between buildings and parking lots on request.
Log observations and incidents accurately and promptly.
Direct visitors to login points and request unwanted visitors to leave the campus.
