Job summary

Allied Universal seeks an Armed Security Officer Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO for part-time shifts. The role focuses on patrolling, responding to incidents, monitoring access, and delivering customer service while enforcing site policies.

Uniformed guards will deter unauthorized activity and maintain safety across assigned areas. Eligible applicants should have armed security experience, be 21+, hold a high school diploma, and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
