Job summary

Sunstates Security in Austin, TX is hiring armed security officers for part-time weekend night shifts, paying $30.00 per hour with weekly pay. Must have Texas Level III or IV license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, patrolling on foot or by vehicle, escorting client team members, interacting with visitors and staff professionally, and promptly reporting incidents. This role offers growth opportunities within a respected security partner.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Level III or IV Security License.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 5 years of security experience.
• 5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Open availability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
• Conduct hourly foot and/or vehicle patrols.
• Escort Client Team Members.
• Interact with visitors, members of the public, and team members in a highly professional manner.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and disturbances.
• Address trespassers and enforce property rules.
• De-escalate situations and contact law enforcement when necessary.
• Complete accurate hourly and daily activity and incident reports.

Sunstates Security is hiring Armed Security Officers in the Austin, Texas area. These positions are Part Time, weekend nights, and offer a pay rate of$30.00/hr, with weekly pay.

Job Requirements

• Must have an active Texas Level III or IV Security License in hand.
• Valid driver license with a clean MVR.
• Former Law Enforcement/Military highly preferred.
• 5 years of security experience.
• 5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Attention to details.
• Must have open availability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
