Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol with Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at an aerospace/defense location.

Requirements include DoD Secret Clearance, Texas Level III Armed Certification, 2+ years security experience, 21+, valid driver’s license, and background check.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subjects to background checks and drug screen.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report policy violations, hazards, and suspicious behavior in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Support access control, incident reporting, and emergency preparedness activities while working in environments and conditions that may vary across the location.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
