Job summary

Allied Universal in Middletown, OH is seeking a Security Officer Armed School Patrol (Part Time) to serve and safeguard clients across educational settings. The role offers a flexible schedule and the ability to earn more via the Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $24.50 per hour.

You will conduct armed patrols, maintain presence, and respond to security concerns with professionalism while supporting students, staff, and visitors and contributing to a caring, reliable team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or unauthorized persons.
• Complete reports and maintain activity logs; communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
