The position is safety-sensitive with responsibilities including public interaction, emergency response, and lawful handling of firearms. Night and weekend shifts, plus post-offer requirements, are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security role.
• Valid armed guard license where required by state law.
• Legal authorization to carry and operate a firearm.
• Certification in arrest control, restraint techniques, or equivalent defensive tactics.
• Regulatory compliance: understanding of applicable security and firearm regulations.
• Schedule flexibility: ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

This role is considered safety-sensitive due to responsibilities involving public interaction, emergency response, and the authorized handling of firearms. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, composure, and the ability to make responsible decisions in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify potential security risks or hazards
• Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents professionally and appropriately
• Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized entry
• Provide emergency response including de-escalation, detainment support, or coordination with law enforcement when required
• Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation

Hourly Wage: $25 plus $5.55 H&W

For this position, there will be an additional compensation at the rate of $5.55/hr up to 40 hours worked per week as a supplement for Health and Welfare.
