Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Armed Security Officer (commercial or law enforcement) in last five years or 2+ years of honorable US Armed Forces service.
• Proficient with firearms (9mm and AR-15).
• Must be at least 21 years old or honorably discharged veteran.
• No felony convictions or domestic violence records; US citizen; English literacy for regulations.

Responsibilities

• Protect military installations, personnel, and assets from unauthorized access, sabotage, theft or other threats.
• Conduct entry control and ID checks to verify authorized personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform perimeter and facility patrols to deter suspicious activity and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; assist with emergency procedures.
• Prepare logs and reports of security activities; communicate professionally with personnel.

Position Summary

As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting military personnel, facilities, and assets at our NSA Philadelphia site. You will control access points, perform patrols, detect and deter unauthorized activity, and respond decisively to potential threats. Your professionalism, alertness, and sound judgment ensure order, safety, and mission readiness at secured military installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect military installations, personnel, and assets from unauthorized access, sabotage, theft, or other threats
• Conduct entry control and identification checks to verify authorized personnel, vehicles, and equipment
• Perform perimeter and facility patrols to detect and deter suspicious or unlawful activity
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Execute emergency procedures to secure the base during heightened alert conditions
• Handle firearms responsibly, maintaining proficiency in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Complete accurate logs, reports, and documentation of security activities
• Interact professionally with military personnel, visitors, and fellow officers
• Support Hana’s mission and uphold company standards of ethics, integrity, and professional excellence at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Armed Security Officer (commercial or law enforcement) in the last five (5) years; or minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any US Armed Forces
• Must be proficient using firearms (9mm and AR-15)
• Age: Be at least 21 years of age or be an honorably discharged veteran
• Background: Must not have felony convictions and no convictions for domestic violence crime
• Proof of Legal Residency: Must be a U.S. citizen. Dual citizenship is prohibited
• Communication: Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.

Licensure / Clearance

• Possess a valid current state-issued driver’s license
• Have current or is able to obtain a DoD Clearance
• Have current or is able to Act 235.

Job Qualifications: Successfully meet all of the following

• Pass Drug Test
• Psychological Testing Requirement: CPI/ MMPI tests
• Medical Health Evaluation : Physical exam, Visual, Auditory
• Physical Abilities Test: 1.5 mile run in less than 17.30 min/ 19 push-ups in 2 min
• Be able to wear duty belt (20lbs), stand, walk, run, remain alert

Training Academy (paid): Upon Hire, must be available to successfully complete mandatory 2-week training. Includes classroom, tactical, firearms range, OC/ Baton, CPR/ First Aid.

During Training Academy, you will be paid at a training rate.
