Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Response in Columbus, OH. You will protect clients in financial institutions, perform armed patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 3+ years in security or a college degree, an armed guard card, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience, or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation related to patrols and incidents.
