Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at our facility. You will enforce access control, observe and report violations, and support Sizemore’s safety and teamwork values while performing daily security duties.

Qualifications include being 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred experience in security, military, or law enforcement. Strong communication, initiative, and the ability to handle stress are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Previous security, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Demonstrate commitment to service and professionalism.
• Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in potentially stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
• Documents security activity with DAR and incident reports.
• Controls vehicle and personnel access per established procedures.
• Responds to emergencies in line with procedures.
• Operates security equipment as needed (CCTV, scales, computer systems, etc.).
• Prevents losses by reporting irregularities and enforcing policies.
