Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred; two years of college minimum.
• Two years of verifiable armed security experience.
• Must hold DC Armed Security Guard Card/permit.
• Active DC armed security credentials required.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to interpret rules, regulations, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling exterior and community areas on-site.
• Control access to entrances and exits; manage departures of employees and visitors.
• Monitor surveillance cameras for disturbances or unlawful activities.
• Provide detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Use magnetometer and X-ray equipment as required.
• Communicate clearly using two-way radios.
• Apply CPR or first aid when needed.
• Maintain credentials per contract requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Project Manager.
