Allied Universal in Locust Grove, VA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver to protect guests and property at a resort-style community. You will conduct armed patrols, operate a vehicle per policy, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires an armed guard card or license, a valid driver's license, age 21+, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of resort grounds, lodging areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious conditions per site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of resort grounds, lodging areas, recreational amenities, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious or unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
