Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an armed Security Officer for a part-time role in Albuquerque, NM. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and respond professionally to security concerns, providing excellent customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and county personnel.

Role requires a valid armed guard card, ability to work flexible shifts, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. CPR First Aid certifications are preferred; driver’s license required for driving positions

Qualifications

Armed guard card or license required.
CPR certification preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check as per laws.
Drug screen as permitted by law.
Industry-specific security training required.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and county personnel with site-specific security procedures and access-control.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and disturbances calmly following protocols.
Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeters to deter incidents.
Monitor access points, verify entry, report suspicious behavior and incidents.
Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership and supervisors.
