Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Part-Time Texas Patrol in Houston, TX, protecting a retail location and its customers. You will conduct regular armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to alarms and emergencies, and provide excellent customer service and communication. A Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime and Night shifts.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and delivery activity for unusual or security-related concerns; report observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required qualifications for armed post duties and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
