Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and applicable municipal facility policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, permits, and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency personnel and local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

• Thur 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

• Sat 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:
