Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Armed Security Officer for the Protective Services Department at the Baptist St. Augustine FSED location.

This full-time night shift role runs 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM and focuses on protecting patients, visitors and staff while patrolling medical center properties. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, escorting individuals, enforcing parking regulations and assisting with vehicle problems.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of law enforcement experience required.
• High School Diploma required; an Associates degree is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required and security officer licenses Class D and G.

Responsabilités

• Patrol Baptist Health properties to ensure safety of patients, visitors and staff.
• Report unusual circumstances and take corrective actions.
• Provide escort services as needed.
• Respond to unsafe situations and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Enforce hospital parking regulations.
• Assist individuals with vehicle problems when necessary.
