Job summary

Code 4 Private Security is seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to provide security services at a hotel property in Inglewood, California. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and welcoming environment for hotel guests, employees, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and enforcing property policies.

The schedule includes a morning shift on Sundays and Mondays, with additional shifts possible based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required).
• Valid California Driver's License or State ID.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of armed security experience preferred.
• Hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and guest activity to deter crime.
• Provide visible security presence and enforce hotel policies.
• Respond to disturbances, alarms, emergencies, and guest concerns.
• Complete detailed DARs and incident reports; coordinate with management and law enforcement as needed.
