Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Shreveport, LA. The role involves armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and incident reporting to ensure safety for personnel and property.

Pre-employment requires armed security experience, 21+ of age, and an armed guard license. Duties include responding to incidents, maintaining compliance with site orders, and providing exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications required.
• NWDTP certification required.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certifications required.
• Defensive tactics and de-escalation certifications required.
• Two years of armed security experience or US military service or armed civilian law enforcement experience.
• 21+ years of age or higher as required by law.
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring.
• Protect people and property by deterring threats and enforcing procedures.
• Report safety concerns verbally and in writing.
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism and within protocol.
• Greet visitors and assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility by foot or vehicle.
• Monitor phones, CCTV, and alarms.
