Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to safeguard client sites across commercial real estate, healthcare, education, government and more in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will perform safety procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain a calm, professional presence to protect people and property.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($39.80 base plus $5.90 Hawaii and Wellness bonus per hour) with ongoing training, career growth and benefits as part of a leading national security provider.

Qualifications

• Armed security officer eligibility: 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required by law; criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pre-Employment Requirements

2+ Years' Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience (C140)

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
