Qualifications

• 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• College degree.
• Corrections officer license.
• DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree or 60 college credits, police academy certificate, or corrections academy certificate.
• Law enforcement officer license.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain records related to incidents and patrols.
