Palisade Defense Security is seeking professional Armed Security Officers to protect clients, employees, visitors, and property. The role requires strong observation, calm judgment, and clear communication, with unarmed applicants not considered.

We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement. Graveyard shifts are available, with 12-36 hour weekly options for part-time and full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Valid Nevada Armed PILB Work Card is required.
• Previous experience as Armed Security Officer, Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections, or related field is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of assigned properties.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Verify doors, gates, windows, and access points are secure.
• Check identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Enforce client and company policies and remove trespassers when necessary.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies; investigate incidents.
• Prepare accurate DARs and detailed incident reports.
