Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Armed - Experienced - Flex in Cincinnati, OH. This role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing flexible hours and the potential to work up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
