Job summary

KRE Security, LLC is hiring Act 235 Armed Security Officers for flexible part-time and per diem assignments throughout Perry County, PA. Starting pay is $22.00/hour with a $0.25/hour differential for eligible Military & LE0 personnel.

Responsibilities include maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling, responding to incidents, and completing reports. Candidates must meet PA Act 235 requirements, maintain firearms qualifications, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pennsylvania Act 235 certification required.
• Meet PA armed-security requirements.
• Maintain firearms qualifications/certifications.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation when required.
• Background screening and reliable attendance required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Complete in-person orientation and state-mandated trainings.
• Additional clearances may be required for specific assignments.

• Monitor assigned areas, entrances, and exits.
• Conduct patrols as required.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Follow post orders, site procedures, and company policies.

• Identify and report suspicious or unusual activity.
• Perform armed security duties safely and professionally.

• Complete KRE Security's required in-person orientation
• Complete all required state-mandated training and certifications applicable to the assignment
