American Security Group, LLC in Richmond, VA, is seeking Armed Security Officers with strong communication and customer service skills. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required; we value attention to detail and reliability.

Patrol, access control, and report writing are typical duties. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $25.00 plus overtime, full-time and part-time shifts, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years experience in security preferred, but not required
• Experience with people - customer service
• Effective written and verbal communication - must speak fluent English
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Height/Weight proportionate / ability to take/pass a PT test
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must have very clean VA DMV Driving Record and a valid VA Drivers License
• May be required to take a Medical Physical and a Physical Fitness Test
• Required to take an on-site written exam and oral interview
• Must pass an online job fit assessment test
• May be required to take a pre-employment drug screen
• *MUST HAVE Current Armed DCJS Registration preferred (.40 cal preferred)
• MUST HAVE Duty Web Gear with at least double retention holster
