What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
