Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• POST-certified training or equivalent security certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff entry/exit posts; verify IDs and screen visitors, vehicles, and mail using metal detectors and x-ray equipment.
• Conduct roving patrols to inspect perimeter, doors, locks, and security equipment.
• Operate and monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control per Post Orders.
• Respond to emergencies, administer basic first aid, contact 911 as needed.
• Issue badges, keys, and passes; log incidents and prepare reports.
• Maintain and organize security documentation and training records.
