Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Los Angeles to join a highly trained team supporting critical facilities and events.

You’ll be part of a security force delivering professional protection, reporting, and incident response in coordination with local post orders. Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, writing clear security reports, and complying with licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Must have valid California Driver’s License
• Be physically capable of performing assigned security duties
• Must pass background, drug screen, and fitness standards

Responsibilities

• Constant or frequent personal surveillance of secured areas
• Close observation of persons within secured areas to detect damage or theft
• Monitoring equipment deliveries and construction contractor activities
• Log in visitors and issue visitor badges; maintain logs and access control
• Prepare and submit security reports that are clear, accurate and complete
• Respond to alarms and company emergencies in a timely manner
• Enforce access control procedures and deter unauthorized entry
