Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Driver Patrol) in San Antonio, TX. You will conduct routine armed patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while protecting clients across Retail/Malls and other sites.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, being at least 21, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background

• Background investigation and drug screen required by law and company policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally and contact appropriate emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout retail areas, receiving and loading zones, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activities, reporting suspicious behavior and safety violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports and logs while maintaining a professional presence on site.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sat 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate emergency services and/or site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
