Job summary

Top Guard Security is seeking armed security officers for a site in Richmond, VA. The role requires DCJS ARMED certification (and baton certification or willingness to obtain one) and is suited for individuals able to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, customer service focus, and professional demeanor. Duties include access control, patrolling, visitor screening, and coordinating with staff and clients to ensure security

Qualifications

• Must be DCJS ARMED certified already, and either have baton certification or willing to get baton certified.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Access control in a secured building.
• Patrolling the facility.
• Completing radio checks with the other officer and our client.
• Checking in all visitors.
• Communicating with various staff on visitors and/or issues occurring.
• Other duties as assigned by Account Manager and/or our client.
